Happy New Year! 2014 goals

Every week I am asked, "You only have three staff? How do you do so much with so little?" The answer, "We don't do it all!"

For the past three weeks, you heard stories from five of the hundreds of volunteers who are the LivableStreets Alliance - Carice, Will, Mike, Briana, and Andy (who matched $1,000 of your donations!). 

 

Make a year end donation, and with your support, we will continue to train and support more LivableStreets Advocacy Committee members, volunteers, and Ambassadors like Carice, Will, and Mike. We will diversify our membership and build new partnerships with people like Briana and Andy. We will host more events you wish to attend like StreetTalks and the annual Boston Bike Update. Above all, we will create change on our streets.

In 2014, we aim to: 

  • Make transit a priority on our streets
  • Create a seamless connection between our off and on street paths 
  • Work with the new Boston administration to create a visionary transportation plan  
  • Create safe streets
  • Engage thousands of people in our work
