In 2010 and 2011, we organized this ride for Bob Zeeb (husband and father) to celebrate the life and spirit of Robert Zeeb, 1938-2009, and to benefit LivableStreets because Bob Zeeb was so passionate about cycling. In partnership with LivableStreets, we have built off of the success of the Ride 4 Bob Zeeb to launch Tour de Streets, a ride for livable streets. Tour de Streets is a ride in memory of loved ones, a ride for fun, a ride for more livable streets, and a ride to encourage lifelong riding.
Since 2010 Tour de Streets has grown into one of our most popular events, attracting more than 150 participants in 2014 including avid cyclists, families with small children and everyone in between.

Hello Friends! Once again this year, we are raising funds to support the good people at LivableStreets, who work to make our streets safer for children to walk and bike. Our daughter, Annika, has been biking to school since she was 4, and it is our dream to have many more of her friends bike with her. To get there, we need all riders to feel safe biking in Boston and Cambridge, so together with the rest of team Meowing Hashtags, we will be riding a slow-paced 5.5 family ride during Tour de Streets on September 12th in Watertown to raise money for LivableStreets. Kids 4 and older will be able to ride this route on their own bikes, and whiskers, cat ears or hashtag tattoos are encouraged but optional.
