DCR Arborway Meetings: Centre St Corridor Study

Do you like to walk, bike or run the around Jamaica Pond and the Arnold Arboretum? If so, you know it's difficult to stay on a safe, continuous path through this part of the Emerald Necklace. With your support, this could soon change!

Please join us for a series of three public meetings where the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) and the Emerald Necklace Conservancy will present and obtain feedback on options for improved safety and accessibility for all people walking, running, biking, and driving, at three key areas of concern.

This is the second of three meetings, covering the Centre St Corridor Study, from the VFW Parkway to Murray Circle. For a map highlighting the areas of all three meetings, click here.

This project is an important piece of the Emerald Network, a vision for a seamless 200-mile system of greenways across the urban core to create a 21st century recreation and transportation system that is safe and convenient for all. To learn more about our initiative click here.
