DCR Arborway Meetings: Arborway Multi-modal Improvement Project

Please note location change for Oct 14 meeting:

now @ Faulkner Auditorium, 1153 Centre St, Jamaica Plain

Do you like to walk, bike or run the around Jamaica Pond and the Arnold Arboretum? If so, you know it's difficult to stay on a safe, continuous path through this part of the Emerald Necklace. With your support, this could soon change!

Please join us for a series of three public meetings where the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) and the Emerald Necklace Conservancy will present and obtain feedback on options for improved safety and accessibility for all people walking, running, biking, and driving, at three key areas of concern.

This is the third of three meetings, covering the Arborway Multi-modal Improvement Project between Eliot St and South Street, including Kelley and Murray Circles. For a map highlighting the areas of all three meetings, click here.

This project is an important piece of the Emerald Network, a vision for a seamless 200-mile system of greenways across the urban core to create a 21st century recreation and transportation system that is safe and convenient for all. To learn more about our initiative click here.
