Virtual Forum: Share Your Vision for a Connected, Sustainable West Station Neighborhood
Are you interested in sustainable transportation and equitable development about the future West Station in Allston?
Join MAPC on Wednesday, June 10 for the second public meeting about the West Station Area Transit Study! MAPC will provide an update on work completed so far, and you'll have a chance to collaborate (virtually!) with other meeting attendees and MAPC staff in small group discussions.
Your input will be used to create a range of land use and transportation scenarios for the future of West Station once the interchange is reconstructed. Those scenarios will be evaluated to estimate how they will affect transit use, walking and biking, vehicle emissions, health outcomes, and access to opportunity.
The results will be presented in a future meeting and will inform the study's recommendations for transportation improvements, zoning, and other policies.
At this forum, you will:
- Learn more about how they are conducting the analysis and the 'beta scenarios' looked at so far
- Give input on what critical transportation options, connections, and land use scenarios you think should be tested
- Participate in an interactive digital mapping exercise in small group breakouts
This meeting will be on Zoom. Please click here to register.
