The Future Urban Mobility Data: Improving Policy While Protecting Privacy

Please join the Taubman Center for State and Local Government and the Rappaport Institute for Greater Boston as they launch the fall Planes, Trains, Automobiles, Buses, and Bikes (PTABB) seminar series. Their first session will focus on cities' growing reliance on urban mobility data to shape local policy, exploring data's potential to improve transportation networks as well as the risks raised by privacy advocates.

Jascha Franklin Hodge, Executive Director of the new Open Mobility Foundation, will give a short presentation about the Foundation's mission to help cities use data to manage their mobility network. He will then be interviewed by David Zipper, Visiting Fellow at the Taubman Center for State and Local Government.
