Stuart Street BRA Planning Study

In anticipation of development in the Stuart Street corridor, the Boston Redevelopment Authority initiated the Stuart Street Planning Study in 2008. The multi-year planning process led to a set of Development Review Guidelines, which were approved by the BRA Board in October 2015. The Guidelines that were developed identified increased height, density, and use recommendations, along with performance standards and public benefits that corresponded to different build-out options.

The BRA is now looking to codify the Guidelines into zoning. At this meeting, BRA Planning Department staff will present the proposed zoning text and map amendments.
