It’s time to build momentum behind environmental justice and climate action at the State House.

Your representatives need to hear from you! Join the Mass Power Forward coalition to talk to your elected officials and start the new legislative session off strong.

New state-wide laws are one of many critical actions that must be taken to transform our state for climate and environmental justice. For the new legislative session, Mass Power Forward will be advocating for three main groups of bills.

First, they are supporting the Environmental Justice Table’s priorities. They will be working to reform the Energy Facility Siting Board, improve air quality for pollution hotspot communities, restore the ability to sue the government for unequal impact and clarify the definitions of environmental justice.

Second, they are supporting the MA Renews Alliance’s work to rapidly retrofit homes to be affordable, efficient, electric and climate healing, with priority to environmental justice neighborhoods.

Third, they will be continuing their work from last session to get Massachusetts to 100% renewable energy.

After you RSVP, you will have an opportunity to meet ahead of time with others from the coalition to plan and organize your meetings. Mass Power Forward will provide a guide, training, and coordinate meeting logistics.
