BCU Pride Ride 2022

About this event

Join the Boston Cyclists Union on a queer-organized and queer-led group bike ride celebrating all the fabulousness of being a queer person on a bicycle!

Free food will be provided and free Bluebikes codes are available for those who need access to a bicycle. Helmets will be available for purchase for $5.

This is a slow-pace, casual ride 7 mile ride from Moakley Park (go to https://goo.gl/maps/GnnCZjWJwAGqTLZp9 for the specific starting location) to the Lansdowne Pride Bar Crawl (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/lgbtqia-pride-bar-fest-2022-tickets-317184917627) with an optional 3 mile ride back to Moakley. Signing up for and attending the Pride Ride will also give you a discount code for tickets to the Bar Fest. First-time and newer cyclists are highly encouraged to attend!

Please show up in your most queer, most fabulous outfits! We will also provide accessories to glam up that you can take home. Our panel of local celebrity judges will award prizes for the best dressed in various categories.

This event is also done in partnership with Boston Harbor Now as part of their work with the City of Boston on the re-design of Moakley Park into a model for a climate-ready and community-centered park.

Schedule 10:00-11:00am - Food, glamming up, hanging out! 11:00-11:30am - Prizes for best dressed awarded 11:30am - Ride departs from Moakley! 1pm approx - Return to Moakley. (Swim and hang at Carson Beach if you want with all your new friends!)
