Are you a Dorchester resident? Please join friends and neighbors to explore Boston's waterfront--right in your own neighborhood! This free, family-friendly event will take place in Dorchester on Saturday, March 16 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Waterfront resources including the New England Aquarium, Boston Harbor Now, National Park Service, Museum of African American History, Boston Children's Museum, LivableStreets Alliance, and Bluebikes will be conducting hands-on activities in Roxbury so you can learn about what is available on the waterfront for you and they can learn more about your needs and interests.
This will be a fun, interactive event for all ages. The evening will include:
- Locally prepared hot meal served at 11:30 a.m.
- Hands-on activities
- Spanish, Cape Verdean Creole, and Somali language interpretation
- Interactive survey to share your past experience, needs, and interests
- Thank you gifts for all
