The City of Boston wants to improve pedestrian safety on Tremont Street in the South End.

Through the Go Boston 2030 process, the public identified Tremont Street as a priority project. The City is designing changes to make Tremont Street safer for everyone with an emphasis on pedestrian safety at intersections. The current focus is on Tremont Street between Massachusetts Avenue and Herald Street.

There are two open houses being held in March 2020. Stop by any time during the open houses! Learn about the current design plan and review proposed changes to curb regulations along Tremont Street. The city will fine-tune the design and curb regulations based on your feedback.
