Powerful Pathways presents Planning For Equity: Planners of color talk about the future of Urban Planning
Join Powerful Pathways for this critical discussion centering the distinct perspectives of three planners of color working to create more equitable cities in Massachusetts and across America. In this panel, Elijah Romulus, Assistant Town Planner of Bridgewater, Pedro Soto, Planning Director of Lawrence, and Lily Song, Lecturer in Urban Planning and Design at Harvard Graduate School of Design, will engage in discourse about the ways in which municipalities can respond to racial justice and the effects of the pandemic. The panelists will also share about their experiences working as underrepresented figures in the planning field, and how to create more equitable cities.
