The Green Line Extension project is finally moving forward! The date for issuance of Notice-to-Proceed to the selected Design Build team is now slated to occur in December, nearly two months ahead of the original schedule. The time savings should allow the contractor to take full advantage of the 2018 construction season. In the meantime, early construction activities continue to focus on track and signal work in the vicinity of the future College Avenue Station in Medford and the Red Bridge junction in Somerville and Cambridge.
