In these four sessions, they will convene a diverse array of thought leaders to explore how Massachusetts can fight the climate crisis while building a healthy, green, just, and prosperous future for the people of the Commonwealth.

Elizabeth Henry - As the president of the Environmental League of Massachusetts (ELM), Elizabeth Henry is committed to making Massachusetts lead the nation in environmental policy and getting on a pathway to net zero emissions.
Panelists:
Rep. Adrian Madaro - He serves as the Massachusetts State Representative for the First Suffolk District (East Boston). He is currently the House Chair of the Joint Committee on Mental Health, Substance Use and Recovery. As a passionate community advocate, Representative Madaro has been successful in moving the Commonwealth’s first environmental justice law forward, legislating healthy environments for all, regardless of where they live or who they are.
Dr. Gaurab Basu - He is a Health Equity Fellow at the Center for Climate, Health, and the Global Environment at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Basu has expertise in health equity medical education and the impacts of climate change on health.
Dr. Marcos Luna - He is a Professor of Geography and the Graduate Program Coordinator for the Geo-Information Sciences program at Salem State University, researching social and environmental inequities. He is Chair of the Board of Directors for GreenRoots, Inc. an environmental justice organization based in Chelsea, Massachusetts.
