Routes

Tour de Streets has 3 routes for walkers, bikers, and families:

An urban route for bikers. This ride will last for about 90 minutes and be led by experienced ride marshals.

A shorter family-friendly route that will be led by an experienced family rider. This will last for about 1 hour.

A 3-mile walk that will highlight some of the best walking and biking assets in the area.

What to bring

Helmet (required by MA State law for children under 16, and required for all on this ride — make sure it fits snugly)
Water bottle filled with water
Sunscreen
Sunglasses
Camera
Bike lock
Snack (additional snacks will be provided at the start of the race)

Getting there

Transit: The brewery is about a 7 minute walk from the Green Street stop on the Orange Line and about a 7 minute bike ride from Forest Hills Station. You can plan your MBTA trip here.

Driving: There is limited on-street parking along Washington Street and nearby side streets. We encourage riding, walking or taking the T to Tour de Streets if possible!

Fundraising

We highly encourage and appreciate any fundraising you do on our behalf! Children under age 18 ride or walk for free. You will be prompted to create a personal fundraising page when you register. Creating a team is a great way to invite family and friends to join the fun!

If you are signing up to only attend the BBQ/Party, you will still need to create a personal fundraising page when you register. You can use this account to fundraise, but it's not required.

Post Ride Celebration

Bring your appetite for a post ride celebratory lunch on the outdoor patio at Turtle Swamp Brewing. We'll have food from local restaurants, in addition to the local beer from Turtle Swamp. The BBQ will take place 11:30-2pm.

If you are rider, walker, or donated $25 or more to Tour de Streets you get lunch and one free beer! Children 12 and under eat free. Additional alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
