The Grand Junction, Community Path, Mystic River, Charlestown greenways, and Border to Boston Trails all end in this general area, but they currently do not converge. This bike tour will explore the urban connectivity puzzle and opportunities between all of these trails.
This ride is part of the 2018 MAPC Summer Greenway Ride and Walk Series, which explores metro Boston's growing greenway and trail network. This network is part of MAPC's vision to connect 1400 miles throughout the Boston Region.
The purpose of the series is to show off new projects and advocate for completing the missing gaps. The events educate, entertain, and build the bond between users, designers, planners and advocates to work towards the goal of a connected active transportation network.
