The sun is out, the flowers are blooming, which means it's time to get ready for Bike Month! May is Bay State Bike Month and MassBike has a full calendar of fun events happening across the state. Don't miss National Ride A Bike Day and the Bike Month Kick-Off with Cambridge Bicycle Safety on May 4th. You can also check out a bike rodeo for kids, go to a panel to learn about trailblazing Black cyclists Major Taylor and Kitty Knox, or join the festival on Bike to Work day, just to mention a few of the many events. There is something for all ages and all levels of bike experience!

We were proud to join our partners earlier this month at a legislative Day of Action organized by Transportation for Massachusetts to call for for accessible, affordable, and equitable transportation across Massachusetts.

Co-ED Catherine spoke in the program supporting the Road To Opportunity Act. This legislation would end the practice of suspending driver's licenses for unpaid fines + fees, making MA part of a nationwide movement to stop the criminalization of poverty and break the cycle of debt.
