On this second South Shore ride, we will take the ferry to Hull, and ride past Nantasket Beach as well as see the opportunity for a new rail trail in the area.  We will pass through Wompatuck State Park of which has many miles of rideable trails. Returning via the Hingham ferry.

This ride is part of the 2018 MAPC Summer Greenway Ride and Walk Series, which explores metro Boston's growing greenway and trail network. This network is part of MAPC's vision to connect 1400 miles throughout the Boston Region. 

The purpose of the series is to show off new projects and advocate for completing the missing gaps. The events educate, entertain, and build the bond between users, designers, planners and advocates to work towards the goal of a connected active transportation network.
