The Neponset River Greenway Council is thrilled that the American Planning Association has named the Neponset River Greenway as one of the Great Public Spaces in America!

Join them for a community celebration to acknowledge this prestigious award given to the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation.

They will meet at the comfort station, aka the Stone Building, in the plaza at Mattapan Station at 1:00 and take a leisurely walk on the path to Central Avenue in Milton.

At 1:45, they will gather at Ryan Field near the Harvest River Bridge to hear about the history of the Greenway, the Neponset River, and this section of the project.
