Seeking to improve safety along the Arborway for all user groups, the Department of Conservation and
Recreation (DCR) has completed a Road Safety Audit (RSA) of the parkway from South Street to Eliot Street in
the City of Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood. Contained within the report, which can be viewed from
DCR’s project webpage at https://www.mass.gov/service-details/arborway-parkways-improvement-project, are
both short-term and long-term improvement recommendations.

At this public meeting, DCR will provide information on the RSA; review short-term improvements that will be
or have been made by the agency along the parkway; and, outline the planned design process for long-term
parkway reconfiguration and improvements.
