Sunday, November 20th, is the 2016 World Day of Remembrance. Stand in solidarity with the Massachusetts Vision Zero Coalition to honor those who have been injured or killed by a road traffic crash. The vast majority of these crashes are preventable. In numbers, we can recognize our loved ones, and also demand change.
12:15pm: Memorial bike ride gathers and departs from Copley Square (Facebook event for the ride here)
1:30pm: Memorial walk gathers and departs from Boston Common at Beacon St and Charles St
2:00pm: Rally on the steps of Massachusetts State House (speakers TBA)
World Day of Remembrance is an annual, international event during which we gather as a community to reflect upon those we've lost and and commit ourselves to improve our roads. To learn more about World Day of Remembrance, click here.
