Vision
We believe that to remain a competitive, world-class city, Boston needs a world-class transportation network.
Public transit is vital to moving people efficiently and effectively in and around the region.
A key ingredient to our public transit system is buses. We must erase all notions of what a bus is today and see an entirely new approach to rapid transit.
We want to make transit a priority on our streets to make buses comfortable, accessible, and fast.
Engagement
"I would take the bus more often if..." We’ve collected responses to this simple prompt from neighborhood groups, business associations and elected officials.

We are a member of the Transportation For Massachusetts Coalition, working to win more transportation funding.
We are a member of the Greater Boston Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Study Group. In 2013 LivableStreets joined the Bus Rapid Transit Study Group, convened by the Barr Foundation, to discuss the feasibility of Gold Standard BRT in the Boston region.
