The Town of Watertown is redesigning Mount Auburn Street to improve safety and better accommodate vehicles, transit, bicycles and pedestrians. At this public meeting, the Department of Public Works will provide an update focusing on options for bicycle accommodations along the corridor. They are proposing door-zone bike lanes, NOT protected bike lanes.

The project team will welcome public comments before refining the preliminary design. It will also provide an update on the project timeline, design, and funding process through the Massachusetts Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The team will be available after the meeting to answer any questions and review the plans.
