Harbor Use Public Forum: Seaport Strategic Transit Plan

Boston Harbor Now holds monthly Harbor Use Public Forums for interested stakeholders to learn about and provide feedback to waterfront developers and public agency planners on projects affecting Boston Harbor’s waterfront and islands.

This month, they will be joined by the Boston Planning and Development Agency (BPDA) and the Boston Transportation Department (BTD) to hear about their ongoing work to develop a Strategic Transit Plan for the South Boston Seaport. Building on multiple planning documents and recent successes from digital wayfinding to bus service enhancements, the plan is evaluating a wide range of transit improvements to improve mobility to and within the growing district. Following an in-depth evaluation of these options, the Plan will recommend a priority set of improvements that will provide reliable, predictable, convenient, and integrated transit options to the Seaport.
