WalkBoston's Healthy by Design

Wednesday, November 16th - 5:30-7:00pm
@ Boston Public Library, 700 Boylston St, Boston [map]

Come take a look at one of Boston's first Complete Streets projects - Central Square in East Boston. See how design can lead to healthy, green and multi-modal transportation systems.

More people will walk if walking conditions are safe, and the more people walk the healthier they are. The City of Boston's new Complete Streets initiative creates streets that are healthy and green and puts pedestrians, bicyclists and transit users on equal footing with motor vehicles.
