Screening of Equal or Better and Q&A with film director Kris Carter

Tuesday, August 14th - 6:00-8:00p
@ MAPC, 60 Temple Place, 3rd Floor Conference Room, Boston [map]

In 1987 the Washington Street Elevated train was torn down and the community of Roxbury was left without rapid transit for the first time since 1901. Equal or Better follows the story of promises made to the community and action taken by the citizens that led to the 2002 launch of the Silver Line, re-connecting Dudley Square and Downtown Boston.

Interim Boston Bikes Director Kris Carter and former director of the Washington Street Corridor Coalition Bob Terrell will be at the screening for a Q&A after the film!
