Arlington Bicycle Winter Special

Thursday, March 8th - 7:00-9:00pm
@ Arlington Center for the Arts, 41 Foster St, East Arlington [map]

Join the Arlington Bicycle Advisory Committee (ABAC) for the annual indoor Bicycle Winter Social get-together. Light refreshments will be served.

This year's ABAC Winter Social will feature brief updates on local bicycling issues with time for socializing. Our special guest for the evening will be Dan Driscoll, Director of Recreation and Facility Planning for the Mass. Dept. of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). Dan will speak about DCR's regional and statewide bike and pedestrian initiatives, including the new Alewife Greenway path in East Arlington -- which connects the Mystic River and Alewife Reservation areas. Anyone interested in local bicycling and pathway issues is welcome to join us.

Note the new location for the annual ABAC Winter Social: Arlington Center for the Arts, 41 Foster St., East Arlington. The event will be hosted in ACA's Theatre. The best way to enter ACA's Theatre is from the facility's parking lot, located between Tuft and Foster Streets. From the parking lot, look for ACA Theatre signs to the ramp entrance. The facility's bike-parking rack is located near the Foster St. entrance. Coming from Mass Ave by car or bike, the best way to access ACA is via Tufts St.
