Advocacy Committee August Field Trip

The Advocacy Committee meets monthly to discuss the current work of LivableStreets and provide peer-to-peer support on projects that are being led by committee members. This month, the Advocacy Committee is going on field trip!

We'll be gathering at the Hynes Convention Center Station on the southbound side of Mass Ave under the bus canopy at 6:15pm. We'll depart promptly at 6:30pm for a 2.2 mile walk down Mass Ave to the new Dorchester Brewing Company taproom, where we'll debrief on the walk, eat/drink, and hang out. While walking, we'll discuss safety concerns, bus priority, and 2016 proposed Vision Zero improvements. If folks can't make it for the walk, they can meet up with the group at the brewery around 7:30pm.

There will be beer from the taproom and food from the b.good food truck (vegetarian options too) available for purchase.

If you are new and interested in the committee, come to Hynes Convention Center station from 6:15-6:30pm to learn more about the committee before we depart on the walk!
