Streets are about so much more than transportation. They can and should be places where people move, play and experience culture and community.
Street art can tell the story of a community, be a space for expression or protest and even act as a street calming safety measure.
There are a million and one ways art enriches our streets and our communities.
Help us celebrate street art in its many forms! To participate do one or more of the following:
- Visit one of your favorite pieces of street art in or near your community. Take a photo and share it.
- Share a photo of your favorite street art from anywhere in the world.
- Create your own street art and share it. You could play music, dance, or use temporary materials like chalk to express your creativity.
