DCR’s Volunteers in Parks Program reflects the Commonwealth’s commitment to encouraging public involvement in the protection and care of our natural, cultural, and recreational resources and aims to engage volunteers and nonprofit organizations in the stewardship of these special landscapes and facilities.
At this series of public meetings, DCR will be presenting its draft guide for the Volunteers in Parks Program and obtaining public input.

Please note that the public is invited to comment on the draft guidelines from November 4, 2013 until 4:00 p.m., E.S.T. on Friday, December 6, 2013, by emailing [email protected] or writing to the Massachusetts
Department of Conservation and Recreation, Office of Public Outreach, 251 Causeway Street, Suite 600, Boston, MA 02116, noting “Volunteers in Parks Program” in the subject line.
