After more than 3 years and a dozen public meetings, the Boston Transportation Department (BTD) and Charlestown residents created a “Surface Option” plan for Rutherford Avenue and Sullivan Square that would greatly improve Charlestown and neighboring communities. Now BTD is scheduled to present and seek neighborhood feedback on potential revisions to this plan that may include a tunnel. Voice your Support for the Surface Option
The RCIC will have a Pre-Meeting Information Session from 6:00–6:40 pm to talk about the Surface Option and process for moving forward as well as guidance on how to participate. This session will be held at The Stove Factory Gallery, 523 Medford Street, Charlestown.
