Key Bus Route Improvement Program: Bus Route 39 (Public Meeting)

Tuesday, June 12th - 6:30-8:30pm
@ John F. Kennedy Elementary School - Auditorium, 7 Bolster St, Jamaica Plain [map]

The MBTA is hosting a final design meeting on Bus Route 39, as part of the Key Bus Route Improvement Program, to present final recommendations for implementation this year. After an extensive community process, the recommended plan includes accessibility improvements, additional customer amenities (shelters, benches, trash receptacles) and the consolidation, relocation and elimination of some bus stops, which will result in faster, more reliable service. This initiative is funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

If you have a disability or need an accommodation to fully participate in the meeting, American Sign Language interpreters, assistive listening devices, handouts in alternate formats, etc., will be provided upon request. Please contact Regan Checchio, Regina Villa Associates, at (617) 357-5772 or by email at least one week before the meeting.
