2010 was a tremendous year for transit riders, walkers, and bicyclists.
In the past year, we have gained greater visibility with transportation planners, city and state officials, and out on the streets where it counts the most.
But, there's still much more work to do.

- Bike lanes and cycle tracks have sprouted up on over 25 miles of roadway
- Real-time transit information is now available
- Bicycle trips have more than doubled since 2009
- MBTA bike parking has increased
- Wider sidewalks and safer crossings have made it easier for children, seniors, and those with disabilities to get around without a car
