As many of you know, Harvard filed its Institutional Master Plan
Notification Form (IMPNF) with the BRA today, officially kicking off the
process for creating and reviewing their new Institutional Master Plan.
Equally importantly, the IMPNF and accompanying Executive Summary are
additional elements that inform the ongoing review of the IMP Amendment
and the two buildings proposed as early projects: the Science Complex
and the Art Museum.

You can view the Executive Summary on Harvard's website by clicking on
the link below and scrolling down to the "Recent News" section.

The IMPNF itself will also be made available on the website soon, and
is available for viewing in hard copy at the BRA and at the
Honan-Allston Library.

If you would like to obtain a hard copy, please let me know and I will
refer you to one of the neighborhood residents who will be supplied with
multiple copies so that you can pick one up from them.

On Wednesday, January 24 we'll be holding a workshop from 6:00 to 9:00
p.m. at the Honan-Allston Library to hear a presentation of all
Harvard's plans and proposals and hold a structured discussion. This
will be a good opportunity for residents to learn more about what
Harvard is proposing and to ask questions and provide feedback without
worrying about the constraints of the Article 80 process.

Attached is a flyer that you can circulate by e-mail or in hard copy to
inform people of the event. This ad will appear in the Tab, and Harvard
is doing a mailing to residences in the neighborhood. We are also
placing ads in three additional languages--Spanish, Portuguese, and
Chinese--and posting signs in those languages in key places.

I look forward to seeing you on the 24th and to working with you on
Harvard's proposals. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any
questions or comments.
