Tufts host MetroFuture event on growth

Please save Wednesday, February 8, 6:30-8:30 p.m.!

Did you know that in the year 2030…

*the Metro Boston region will have enough housing, but not the right
types, and not in the right places?

*the distribution of growth will worsen the region's transportation
and water challenges?

Join the Student Planning and Policy Association and the Metropolitan
Area Planning Council (MAPC) to discuss
trends impacting the future of the social, physical, economic, and
environmental health of our region that MAPC's "MetroFuture" project
uncovered, and find out how you can get involved in designing a more
sustainable future for the region. MetroFuture is MAPC's initiative
to develop a plan for Metro Boston's growth and development through
2030. We are seeking participation from students, faculty, staff, and
neighbors in a project briefing on Wednesday, February 8, at Braker
Hall, room 001. Please join SPPA and MAPC as we plan for the future!
