Community Meeting: MBTA Fairmount Line stations

If anyone from the ROC was interested in speaking directly with MBTA
design and construction staff about the design of the new Fairmount Line
stations, there will be a meeting on Wednesday, March 5, from 6:30 to
8pm at the Mildred Avenue Community Center, 5 Mildred Avenue, Mattapan

This meeting will focus on the Blue Hill Ave station, but many of the
architectural choices are common to all of the new stations. The issue
of canopy design (especially protection from the elements) was discussed
at the last full ROC meeting, and I believe forwarded to the Capital
subcommittee. This community meeting would be an excellent opportunity
to get answers to questions from any interested members.
