Attend this meeting of the Longwood Area Cyclists to learn more about the multi-modal survey results and hear about MASCO's plans to make the Longwood Medical Area safer for people who travel by bike. 

The first Longwood Cyclists Summit was held on August 7, 2015 in response to the growing increase of cyclists in the area. Sadly that was also the same day that Anita Kurmann, a Swiss endocrinologist and thyroid surgeon, was killed while bicycling to the Longwood Area. As a member of the Massachusetts Vision Zero Coalition, the Longwood Area Cyclist group is committed to working with MASCO and the City of Boston to meet its goal of zero traffic deaths and fatalities by 2030.
