As part of the agenda an update will be given on the Centre/South design process, which seems to be leaning towards considering the JP Plaza area as one of its focus areas (Monument Square and Hyde Square are already foci). It would be great if there was an update on JPNDC activities, including the walkway to Amory Street from Centre.
Primarily, though, there was a request to discuss the signals at our favorite intersection: Boylston and Amory Streets. A pedestrian was hit by a car at this location last week. We can look at some background for different kinds of pedestrian signal timing, look at details of the incident, and maybe get a look at the planned redesign of the intersection.
