Learn more about the future of transportation in our region at upcoming public meetings.

Staff from the Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will present information about two important regional transportation planning documents that will be available for public review and comment in May.

• The draft federal fiscal years 2013–16 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)
• The draft federal fiscal year 2013 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP)

The TIP establishes which highway and transit projects in the Boston region will receive federal funding during the next four years. The UPWP establishes the transportation planning studies to be conducted in the region during the year that begins on October 1, 2012. Both documents can be reviewed here.
